The quickest mobile chip for socket S1 is the TF-38 at 2.2ghz with 31 watts. The TF-20 uses just 15 watts. Your heat production will more than double.

Well we could go bigger like a dual core, The TL-68. That's 35w, but realistically closer to 45w under load. Your board supporting it?? No idea. 50% chance.

Socket S1 presents a challenging situation... typical of AMD design. It has been used across many CPU generations. The top-performing models that physically fit it are the AMD Phenom II X4 X940, a quad-core 2.4 GHz processor delivering 45 watts. However, it's unlikely any other CPU will match its performance while also fitting the same socket revision (S1g1), memory type, and TDP. Still, it appears no single-core Athlon chip outperforms it in this setup. RIP VRM's

I'm connecting right now with a Socket 754 mobile unit. It was designed for the 90nm chips, the older generation. This one is a Turion 64 ML-30.

Right, the bad part is I've run myself all these damn platforms also. Not really for daily, but for overclocking. I did find a validation actually I can link here. https://valid.x86.fr/tzhjav I sadly have no socket 754 hardware. Have OCed it plenty though. Even one of the fast chips

Wow, that would really drop the charger's power output by itself. The GPU and system are struggling to maintain performance.
