I chose to upgrade my 8700K machine that runs several Minecraft servers, aiming for the top CPU available today to achieve maximum speed. I discovered that 11900K and 5950X are the fastest options on the market for each brand. While 11900K offers quicker cores ideal for single-threaded Minecraft servers, 5950X provides more overall cores. There’s no question about it—11900K is better suited for your use case. Price isn’t a priority; performance is everything.

I was just checking the benchmark suite in the latest Aida64 release. The 11900K fails in every test, no matter how it's run, especially at 5GHz with only 5900X available.

Higher clock rates available, yet overall speed remains unchanged. The 5000 series Ryzen often outperforms the 11th generation Intel in basic single-threaded operations.

11900k seems completely unreasonable to think about purchasing, just a slightly cheaper 11700k but still too expensive. It's also a server, so don't go overclocking and efficiency is more important. Those Intel chips tend to get very hot and use a lot of power. Instead, opt for a 5800x or 5900x and boost the RAM.

I acquired it from a few sources. It aligns well with AMD on single-core tasks, yet it surpasses it significantly when running on multiple cores. The 5900X stands out among current options, offering superior performance per core and higher clock speeds when optimized, despite the 5950X having more threads. In terms of raw multicore capability, the 5900X edges out due to its thread count. From a value perspective, it delivers stronger power compared to alternatives.
