Top Ryzen 5 3400G motherboard recommendation #The Best Mobo
Hello, I'm planning a budget of 35-40K INR and will choose the Ryzen 5 3400G. Looking for the best motherboard recommendation for video editing, graphic design, and gaming. Suggested options: Good One Mobo.
Dude, here's the thing. Both Ryzen 3400g and 3600 consume little power, below 60-80 watts. so pretty much any AM4 motherboard with B450 chipset or better will work just fine with them. You can even go with an A320 based motherboard, but if you do this you would not be able to upgrade to Ryzen 3xxx series processors in the future. 3400g and 3600 will be more expensive because they're the latest generation. However, if you don't think you're gonna upgrade in the future to a more powerful processor, you could go with a Ryzen 2600 and a cheaper motherboard, which will make room in your budget for a more powerful video card, for gaming. From a CPU performance point of view, here's how the processors sit: 9324 Ryzen 2200g 9962 Ryzen 3400g 12287 Ryzen 1600 (23% more vs 3400g) 13513 Ryzen 2600 (35% more vs 3400g) 19871 Ryzen 3600 You obviously can't afford the Ryzen 3600 in your budget of 40K INR, so we're looking at the others. Now let's look at the prices for those: 6275 INR 2200g 9466 INR 1600 13000 INR 2600 14590 INR 3400g So even though it's old the Ryzen 1600 gives you 23% more raw power, for 5000 INR less. The 2600 also gives you 35% more raw power, for 1500 INR less. The 3400g does give you integrated graphics, but you could take those 5000 INR between 1600 and 3400g and put it in the video card budget and you get a video card that's several times better than the integrated graphics so you'd do better in the "gaming" department. Note you can also overclock the 1600 a bit, bringing it close to the Ryzen 2600 performance. So here's a configuration that squeezes in your 40K INR budget that's better for editing (due to 6 cores, 12 threads) and it's also better for gaming (due to video card which can do 1080p 60fps just fine) It also allows you to upgrade in the future to a Ryzen 3600 and even higher, let's say up to 8 core processors (I wouldn't go higher than 8 cores on this budget motherboard Note it's only ONE stick of 8 GB - i chose that because it had the best price vs performance. You will get 5-10% more performance if you add a second stick, but you can do that when you have more money. Can add more sticks any time. * The RX 570 cards is a big part of the budget, you could go with a GTX 1050 card that's maybe 2000 INR cheaper, but it's really the best price vs performance PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor ₹9466.00 @ Amazon India Motherboard Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ₹6600.00 @ Amazon India Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ₹2487.00 @ Amazon India Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ₹2799.00 @ Amazon India Video Card Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 4 GB Gaming 4G Video Card ₹11929.75 @ Amazon India Case Corsair 100R ATX Mid Tower Case ₹2899.00 @ Amazon India Power Supply Corsair CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ₹3990.00 @ Amazon India Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total ₹40170.75 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-11-23 16:43 IST+0530 If you want integrated graphics, what you would care about is how many video outputs the motherboard has. If you go with 2600, I wouldn't care about the video outputs on the motherboard, I'd focus more on how upgradable the motherboard is when it comes to CPU.
