Top RGB motherboards for Ryzen 5 2600X offer vibrant visuals and solid performance.
I’m setting up a PC from scratch for the first time. Here’s what I have: an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Gigabyte GTX 1650 Super WindForce OC Edition, C16 RAM at 3200MHz, HP XPS 900 with 120GB NVMe SSD, an older Seagate 500GB 3.5" HDD from my previous machine, a TP Link T4e Archer Wi-Fi PCIe X1 card (since the board doesn’t have built-in Wi-Fi), an Ant Esports Ice 511-M, and five 120mm addressable RGB fans that sync via software. The case layout will feature swapping the four pre-installed fans for the five new ones, placing three on the front intake and two on the rear exhaust.
The main challenge is choosing a motherboard. I was considering ASRock B450 Steel Legend because it supports ARGB headers, but reviews of its ARGB software (like AsRock Polychrome Sync) were unsatisfactory—users reported crashes and poor performance. I’m looking for reliable ARGB boards that work well with fan synchronization software and fit within a $195 budget (about ₹14,000).
Since I’m based in India, local Amazon links would be very useful. RGB lighting is important to me, so I need a board that balances performance, compatibility, and affordability.
ASUS Prime B450-PLUS is a solid choice for a reliable motherboard.
I'm sorry, I see an issue with the 4-pin header. Let me know how I can assist you further.
Located a single unit via Amazon link; it shows both 3-pin and 4-pin connectors. Cost is ₹9,049 for the ASRock B450 Steel Legend Socket AM4 model, compatible with Ryzen 3rd Gen, DDR4, Quad CrossFireX, SATA3, USB3.1, M.2, A&GbE, and ATX motherboards.
