I like the concept but I’ll skip the spending, as I’ve got a compact case that fits everything neatly. It’s been my gaming hub for fighting games with friends, but now my family misses older titles, so I’m planning a surprise at Christmas. RetroPie should run on Linux, which is great—I just want a clean, polished interface. How does Control-E work with multiple controllers? I currently use an Xbox and PS4 controller.

It accommodates the same number of controllers as available USB ports. Although I haven’t tried it with PS4 controllers, if it functions on Windows by default, it should work with RetroPie.

Choose a Linux distribution similar to Ubuntu. Set up emulators for games like Citra, pscx, Mesan, etc. Check the official list at the provided link. Get a controller—Logitech F310 works well out of the box. Remember, support varies by emulator. Some allow controllers while others don’t. And if you’re into emulators, try playing Pokémon!
