If you hadn’t mentioned your dislike for the 712 Pro, it would be my top choice. I’m curious about how much of the decision came from the soundcard or settings. Another well-liked pick among gamers is the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO

What aspects didn’t work for you? The audio selection had personal preferences, and the headset was driven by a DAC/AMP.

Sound blaster X isn’t tied to any specific model. Can you share what aspects of the 712 Pro didn’t meet your expectations? Without knowing your preferences and dislikes, it’s hard to offer helpful suggestions.
