Your connection speed is 940mbps. The device you're checking is smaller than your laptop, but it uses a different type of wireless adapter. This doesn't affect performance since it's not USB 3.0 like the others.

USB offers a reliable connection, while USB Wi-Fi tends to be unreliable. Consider upgrading to a better internal card for improved performance.

Of course, for WiFi to function best you need the antennas spaced farther apart than a USB port width. That’s why in laptops they’re often placed at the screen’s opposite corners (or for some strange reason on my wrist rest). Also, laptop WiFi antennas are roughly three times larger than a Nano USB adapter. That’s significantly bigger than the antenna on a Nano adapter will ever be.

Be careful with that device, it seems to only provide up to 100 Mbps.

Achieving strong signals is tough even with large antennas. I can lose a quarter of the signal just a short distance away when my door is open and it's right in front of the router. WiFi deserves careful attention.

I believe that, though, I’d still consider swapping the existing component in your laptop if it’s available.
