Top RAM package for Ryzen 7 2700X
Top RAM package for Ryzen 7 2700X
I own the CPU and am looking for a 16GB RAM package priced around $1500 for the entire build. Also, the Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz BLS2K8G4D32AESBK isn't available locally but I can source it from a new supplier.
3000+ MHz offers significant benefits. 16GB storage is sufficient for gaming, but if you're producing content or doing rendering, you might need more. My setup uses a 2600X paired with 16 gigabits at 3200MHz (3200mhz). The part number is F4-3200C16D-GTZR (G.skill Trident Z RGB 16GB). It's currently available for around $129.99 Canadian, making it a solid value. G.Skill has introduced a new RGB line called Trident Z NEO, which is AMD optimized. For those who prefer RGB options, these kits are excellent. In general, staying above 3000MHz is recommended for better performance, whether you prioritize lower latency or enhanced visuals.
in which realm a set priced 43% above a standard budget version exists. a budget set? those items are ordinary Hynix CJR units priced at a fixed rate. sometimes they aren't CJR and may even be rev E.
In general, from a cost perspective, staying above 3000mhz seems reasonable. The choice between lower latency, better lighting, or other factors will affect the overall price. What I actually mentioned at the end is that I didn’t define a specific budget. Would you prefer RGB? Are you looking for solid latency or a moderate frequency? Everyone here knows Ryzen works well with high-speed RAM. Compared to February 2018 when this setup was just under $200 CAD, it looks like a solid high-frequency, low-latency RGB option for the price I can confirm. That’s the range I’m familiar with locally. My advice came from current prices of a system I own personally. If someone wants under $100 for a budget build, there are cheaper alternatives available. I didn’t claim it was the absolute best deal.
