Your build includes a Ryzen 7 2700X and a future upgrade to the 7K series. The RAM you're considering is ASUS Prime X570 Pro, which is compatible with your system. This should support both your current CPU and the upcoming GPU upgrades. It’s a solid choice for your needs.

Opt for the most affordable DDR4 3600 RAM available and stop searching further.

The RAM influences your CPU more than the GPU. I noted that because your title suggests both together, but the real boost comes from CPU + RAM. Your chosen RAM is fine. For the 3700X, a 3200 CL14 would be ideal if you can. This is due to the Ryzen 3000's sensitivity to latency, so a better CL provides more gains. Here are some latency figures for CL16/CL14/CL15: DDR4/CL16 – 10.00ns, CL14 – 8.75ns, CL15 – 8.33ns, CL16 – 8.88ns. If you manage die quality and overclock, performance can improve further, but I think getting the best match without extra work is optimal. Most people only notice big jumps when moving from DDR4 2667 to 3600CL16, around 8% on the 3000; higher tiers differ little unless you aim for top scores.

Nightquest really appreciates your feedback! The HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4-3200MHz (HX432C16PB3K2/16) works fine, but there are better options available. Let me know which RAM you're considering, and I can help you decide what fits best in your setup. Thanks a million for your time!
