It was the most affordable option with an x570 and eight SATA slots. Actually, I really like Gigabyte as a motherboard but the Asrock was 184€ and there isn't a Gigabyte card that matches those specs. By the way, I double-checked my store site and it seems Asrock is indeed the cheapest x570 motherboard... Although it definitely isn’t great. I had to return it once and the second one has some odd behavior sometimes.
The issue isn't about whether 4x8GB RAM functions, but rather AMD's promise of no performance beyond 3200MHz for four slots. B-Die is less significant. Timing differences between overclocked and tightened variants won’t be noticeable unless tested specifically.
I didn't realize that before, but in my situation it functions flawlessly at 3600mhz
Before my TUF I had an MSI x570 Gaming Edge WI-Fi and also received an RMA, but there was no fix for the board—just dead. Then I switched to the TUF and it's really working out great. So far everything is fine. The RMA process wasn't great, but knowing that helps. I'm planning to go with the cheapest NEO 32Gb CL16! Thanks a lot!
