Top RAM boost for R7 3700X
They're all so close to each other it doesn't even matter. x570 IIRC isn't rated for 3600MHz with 4 DIMM slots occupied, so that may complicate things. Would work but isn't guaranteed. if you really want 32GB, I'd suggest 2x16GB sticks. I don't think option 3 is showing the right timings, that's a huge difference in price for virtually no difference anywhere.
Are you experiencing memory shortages during regular use? While 32gb is great, some users face problems with X570 boards refusing to run four RAM modules when XMB is enabled. This was a similar issue with my old Corsair RAM on the first X570 TUF board. I upgraded to two 16gb sticks from Tridentz 3200 CAS 14, but achieving solid overclocks remains challenging.
Autch... I wasn't aware of that... The most affordable option didn't seem to be worth it... as far as I could see online. Is the extra cost for the other one justified? Almost... I'm at 80-85% usage, same board as me... ufffff not great! Yeah... I also attempted to overclock mine, but... it wasn't worth it... the performance improvement was minimal... it was a waste of time.
If your needs are that big, it might be worth getting one but I’d prefer two 16GB sticks over the 4x8GB combo. That way, when you open XMB, everything should function smoothly.
Absolutely go for it if you're thinking of making changes... I believe people achieve the best outcomes with that approach. Sure, other tweaks might work too, but everyone loves the B-die style and I ended up going with it. Overclocking hasn't been my forte lately, so I haven't invested much time in it.
I'm not considering overclocking right now... in my view, the OC RAM isn't worth it that much... it would be smarter to upgrade the CPU a bit more. Still, I think buying a 2x16GB and selling mine for a good price could be a better idea... safer to be cautious. By the way, what kind of motherboard are you using?
