My budget is roughly 100 euros, I’m open to spending more. I’m considering upgrading to a 3900/3950 only if I can find one at a reasonable price. Right now I have the R2700x, but the stock cooler is really loud—oh my, that’s a problem. I’m pretty sensitive to noise, and I don’t care about RGB or other distractions.

D15 is perfect for that compact case. It runs extremely quiet and works well even at high temps like 3900x/3950x. If you want to tweak it, you’ll need water which can push costs beyond your budget.

I generally avoid OC due to the time it takes, but if needed, what would you recommend? (keep it quiet) Also, from what I recall, the d15 didn’t really outperform regular water loops in that test.

This depends on the loop and many other factors. However, for CPU cooling, only the D15 is a strong option.

Two 2-bud units can operate together with minimal perf loss. You might also raise the outer fan slightly to ensure proper RAM space.

DRP4 and NH-D15 seem to be the top choices matching the requirements. Around the same level of performance, 360mm AIOs are priced higher than $100. Certain benchmarks show DRP4 performing marginally better.

Others mention the D15 performs slightly better, making it mostly a draw. I prefer Noctua for its calm and genuine nature, and I think their build quality surpasses BQ. Still, BQ is definitely great!
