My system runs [email protected] with MSI GTX970 and GA990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4. I need a high-quality PSU to boost CPU and GPU performance. If I push the CPU to 4.7Ghz and start gaming, the PSU becomes noisy but it works. My current setup uses a GTX970 requiring 42AMP on the 12V rail, which matches my PSU output (Corsair VS550). I want to modify the GTX970 BIOS to remove temperature and voltage limits for better overclocking, similar to what I did with my 960. I’m looking for several PSU options because hardware options are limited in my country. Please recommend some good ones.

I believe a solid 650W power supply would be enough. Here are some options:
EVGA 650 GS
EVGA 650 G2
Corsair RM650i
Corsair RM650x
SeaSonic X-650
All these are top-tier PSUs known for reliability. Any of them should work well. Enjoy your overclocking!
