Hello everyone, I'm looking for suggestions on what to download for a Windows 8.1 new user to improve the interface. I've noticed some users customize the start screen, but I'm not sure how to achieve that myself. Thanks!

Classic Shell offers great value compared to expensive options, boasts robust functionality, and performs exceptionally well. I've been using it for more than a year on Windows 8.

I agree with Vitalius, Classic Shell is amazing. It also has tons of customization.

This topic seems unrelated. You mentioned changing your picture, which I found interesting. Classic shells are a great choice for customizing your desktop, and Rainmeter could add some fun elements too.

Great new interface for the start menu, though it costs around four dollars. The updated version in 8.1 offers much improvement.

It's accurate based on real-life experience—once you own seven units, it's tough to dispute the benefits of upgrading. However, purchasing a fresh operating system makes it difficult to suggest sticking with the older version.

Just kidding, I’m hoping it’s not a messy pile, but it looks like the windows are there. I’d love an Apple Mac Pro in full size and for them to team up with Steam for complete game compatibility. Hopefully, Linux could also get better support.
