Hi, I understand your situation. You're using a TP-Link Archer T2U with Windows 10, but facing issues when switching to a Hackintosh and Linux environments. I'm looking for a PCIe Wi-Fi card that you can install directly on the motherboard without needing extra drivers or installations. You're running Windows 10, Mac OS High-Sierra, and Xubuntu. Also, preferring a solution that works better with a PCIe connection rather than USB. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan.

Hello! I noticed you're working with the older TL-WDN4800 and it's functioning as expected. Let me know if you need any help!

You can select from options that fit a PCI-E 1 port and cost less than $35. Pick the one that suits you best.

They should. It’s best to choose a trusted brand with high ratings. The manufacturer should list available models on their site.

Apologies for the repeated interruption. Only a handful of cards support Linux, and the drivers they include are either you need to build yourself or aren't straightforward to set up. For instance, if a card lacks Linux drivers, would it still function just by plugging it into the PCIe slot?

Don't worry, purchasing from Asus will let you access their website for the necessary drivers. It works with Linux 64 Bit. You can find it here: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/6Zs8TW/...-ac55bt-b1 - Product page: https://www.asus.com/Networking/PCE-AC55..._Download/
