I'm considering purchasing a controller for my PC because my computer is close enough to the TV for HDMI connection. My living room setup is a 32-inch screen, but I often sit on the couch far away, so I need games that work well from a distance. Darksiders are a good example—I've tried them both with keyboard and mouse. I'm looking for alternatives like fighting games, co-op titles, or brawlers that can be played on the TV using my PC controller, avoiding FPS genres.

These games are generally more enjoyable when played with a controller. Titles like Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 fit this style, as do platformers such as Shovel Knight, They Bleed Pixels, and Super Meat Boy.

When playing on a console, the controller functions well, though most consoles lack quality controllers. For best results, try games like Dark Souls 1 and 2 which perform well with controllers.

People handle third-person PC games smoothly using controllers, despite challenges with camera control. Many adjust settings or use alternative input methods to overcome this issue.
