I am using Kaspersky Premium. It offers continuous updates, runs quickly, and requires minimal resources.

Kaspersky is likely the most expensive choice. However, I strongly advise against modifying security suites unless you perform a fresh Windows installation. They often clash violently and may disrupt your connection by claiming your internet settings need adjustment. Windows Defender is genuinely decent, but pairing it with Internet Explorer—or even Edge since add-ons aren’t supported—delivers significantly stronger protection than any single security program alone. Edit: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2372364,00.asp http://www.consumersearch.com/antivirus-software http://www.tomsguide.com/us/best-antivir...-2588.html I’m unsure of the exact testing criteria, but Kaspersky and Bitdefender consistently ranked among the top two.

Bitdefender and Kaspersky are excellent choices, with Norton serving as a solid backup option.

It's really true, it's terrible for personal use, but their Enterprise lineup is solid. ESET NOD 32 FTMFW runs smoothly on the system and I've never faced any problems.

I rely on iolobit System Mechanic Professional alongside CCleaner and Malwarebytes, and I've remained virus-free during my use. Extremely reliable with extensive features available.

most people agree ESET is the right choice. I've tested various antivirus options, both free and paid. NOD32 stands out with minimal false alarms, quick scanning, and efficient performance with low resource use. It operates smoothly in the background without causing issues. I don’t suggest alternatives.

I rely on NOD32 Antivirus after testing several others, as it stands out for compatibility with other programs and minimal false alarms. It ranks among the most efficient security tools, as shown in AV-Comparative performance evaluations, and delivers strong defense. Check out the recommended lists before deciding: AV-Comparatives Real World Tests, AV-Comparatives Performance Test, AV-Comparatives False Positives.

Other options I prefer: Emsisoft Anti-Malware – lightweight but may cause conflicts; Avast! – light yet problematic with Office 2013; Norton Security – bundled but adds bloatware; Bitdefender – powerful but overkill; Kaspersky – solid with performance trade-offs; Webroot SecureAnywhere – nearly no false positives but weak internet security; F-Secure – solid AV with some restrictions; Avira – once strong, now has intrusive updates.

Choose based on your needs and system stability.
