Hello, I'm trying to pick an operating system for my PC. I have Windows 10 and Manjaro installed, and I want a better way to choose OS without constantly using F12. Do you know any suitable options for me? Thanks!

Are you referring to a bootloader? I generally favor systemd-boot, but if you prefer Clover, you might want to try rEFInd.

You don’t require it. The interface isn’t necessary since it’s already available in the BIOS. Use F11 or F9 (based on your model) to open the quick boot menu. Choose the correct drive, and you’ll start up quickly.

Choose a straightforward method that appears when the system restarts. Your family finds it hard to change to Windows.

Yeah, in this case rEFInd with a pretty theme should do good.

Grub is straightforward and most distros include it by default. I believed Manjaro had it too.

Retrieve the Grub installation. (I believe Manjaro sets it up automatically.) Once you see Grub, you'll have a short while to select your operating system; if you don't press any key, it will load the last OS you selected. A simpler method would be to configure Windows as the main boot choice for your motherboard, ensuring your family starts with Windows by default. When you need to switch to Linux, just press F11 or F9 to access the BIOS menu and select Linux. (As pointed out by @SupaKomputa) This approach works best for shared setups where everyone prefers Windows by default.

Yes, it should function on a laptop with a single partitioned drive.

It's named Grub and I set up Windows and Linux on two different disks. Linux is the one I use regularly for work and other tasks. Windows is mostly something I glance at when I find some free games from Epic Games that look interesting.
