I'm deciding whether to place the radiator in front for better CPU cooling or on top for exhaust. I'm setting up my PC in a Noctis 450 case with pre-installed fans on both sides.

I'd mount it on top.

I'd mount it on top. I've checked several videos and benchmarks, and temperatures rise by at least 10C when mounting from the front. That's why I'm placing it in front. Example: https://youtu.be/xNAMxZgvves?t=10m25s
