Hello Everybody, I did some thinking and want the best PC available. So therefore I'm goingt to upgrade from my preexisting 2x16GB 3200MHz CL16 Kit to a RGB one with 4x8GB Sticks. I saw in a Gamers Nexus Video, that all 4 Sticks perform faster than just 2, but that could also be just the difference between dual rank and single rank. Anyways, what is the best Ram-Kit I could upgrade to? Be reasonable, because a 5000MHz Kit surely is great, but not so practiable. My Setup is: Ryzen 9 5900X Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm Gigabyte Aourus Pro V2 (supports up to 5100MHz) 850w PSU and Gen4 NVMe Is there a potential cap to Ram-speeds due to infinity fabric? I read, that you want them both at the same speed. Any advice is welcome, thanks!!

I wouldn't exceed 3600mhz since infinity fabric likely won't reach it without major adjustments (around 1800mhz). Of course, you can achieve a quicker setup. There are many choices based on how much tweaking you're willing to do. You might find kits capable of 3600@cl14, but they require significant fine-tuning. If you need something ready-to-use, opt for a Cl16 model. I’d suggest upgrading to another kit from your current purchase if you need more RAM. Short dual rank (4x8) is seen as quicker than single rank (2x8). 2x16 might be dual rank but isn't confirmed unless you test the sticks, adding extra cost for 4 sticks can be worthwhile, while extra speed gains depend on your system's total and GPU setup. With 3600/3733, not every motherboard/IMC supports 4000, so swapping may not be worth it. For top RAM, check the link provided. You could boost voltage and speed to see how far your CPU/MBO will go.
