The setup includes an HP Pavilion 500-123W with an Intel Core i3 3240. I'm searching for the top value for performance when upgrading the CPU, mainly for streaming PS4 over PC. The motherboard is Joshua-H61-uATX. Thanks!

It's listed on the support page. Yes, the i7 3770 is the top option available. You should definitely be able to upgrade to the i5 3570. This update was made by ZephCloud on October 26, 2019. I also noticed the support page doesn't show a change from the i7 3770k to the i7 3770.

Yeah, Ya..K is unlocked and you can boost their speed... but I doubt you'll be able to push a lot on the H board.

3750K offers some flexibility in the future, though the H board isn't ideal for that. Stick with 3750.
