You're planning a gaming PC and want advice on choosing a motherboard. For your CPU, the Ryzen 7 3700X is a solid pick. When selecting a motherboard, prioritize one that includes WiFi, four expansion slots, and at least two PCIe X16 slots. Since you're new to BIOS updates, look for models with straightforward setup options. Avoid needing a second-gen Ryzen to upgrade. A good starting point would be a board with the listed specifications ready to use right away. Let me know if you need more suggestions!

I'm using this board with a 3800X right away and it performed perfectly from the start. It's great value compared to other X570 models, and it even comes with built-in Wi-Fi.

One of the poorest motherboards available. Avoid this one—it features extremely poor VRMs, and even some B450 models offer superior ones.

The phase power delivery is worth taking seriously despite the uncertainty from the image.

This chart evaluates chipset temperatures, CPU temperatures, and VRM temperatures. I'm also looking for the original reference of this data.

It's a good idea to locate one if possible...

I discovered the video you mentioned today and gained some insight. I should have conducted more research on my motherboard choice. Those tests seem too extreme given the creator’s goal of running a 3700x. It doesn’t quite justify all the complaints about slow performance linked to high-end boards. After reviewing it, it’s clear to avoid MSI and most x570 boards except MSI—they’re still solid options. It’s tough to accept though, since that’s a $200 waste.
