Looking for top mesh setup to cover two floors. Currently using an ASUS router with three repeaters but clients are seeking the optimal solution. Considering budget, I’ve seen a Linux demo about AI integration and Ubiquiti options. Avoiding PoE, I’m open to standard wall plugs like the ones in your ASUS repeaters. What do you think?

You can get great results using Aimex routers. I mainly use three TP-Link M5s in my home, which are placed on solid concrete. If you're aiming for something near $200, it's a good idea to check these options.

I use Ubiquiti UniFi Pro APs at home and I highly recommend them. I live in South Africa where houses are made of brick and concrete, and the signal works perfectly.

We're routing the Ethernet wires through the power lines that connect the plugs, and everything functions flawlessly. They employ Power over Ethernet, meaning only a single cable reaches the access point—great advantage.
