Looking for the optimal memory option that pairs well with your AMD system featuring a B550M Aorus Elite board and the 5900X processor, aiming for the lowest latency.

This model works well and can be adjusted smoothly up to 3800 c16.

That's an option.

It’s probably aiming for 4000, though Infinity Fabric could fall short at 2000, making 3800 a better target.

Generally, every 5900X/5950X reaches its limit around 3800 before errors appear and performance drops. It may work at that frequency briefly, but speed will be poor. My 5900X at 3800MHz runs Y-Cruncher 1B in about 30 seconds with a modest memory boost (16-16-16-32), ensuring stability without extreme overclocking. At 3866MHz it takes nearly five minutes for the same test. For optimal results, a dual-rank kit like Samsung B die (4x8GB or 2x16GB) at 3800MHz is ideal, especially with XMP enabled. A 3600MHz CL16-18-18 kit offers close performance to most benchmarks at half the price of a stock setup. If you need more than 32GB, opt for a 2x32GB Crucial Ballistix kit for better overclocking potential, avoiding quad-rank memory issues. Choose the fastest speed tier only if you’re prepared to invest in higher XMP profiles and consistent performance.

Memory performance depends heavily on the ICs chosen for production. Optimal selections have already been recommended.

I use a 4x8 3200C14 with my 5900X and it's performing great.
