I recently assembled a friend a PC at https://pcpartpicker.com/user/2024jrb1/saved/9LrPFT. Essentially, their home lacked Ethernet support and the motherboard didn’t include a wireless card. They’re using Manjaro Linux and purchased a Netgear Wi-Fi card (A7000), but it failed to function due to missing drivers. They’re returning it, but in the meantime, what’s a reliable Wi-Fi 6 option (Bluetooth is a plus)? I’ve noticed some strong reviews for cards featuring the Intel AX200 chipset. I’m considering the TP link card you liked—it includes an Intel chipset. Is that solid? And regarding the Intel NVME model, do you think it’s worth looking into?
On Manjaro this should work with the Netgear USB Card. Clone the repository and build for Intel chips. The ax200 is included because it runs on Kernel 5.1.
I haven't used it much, but the AX200 performed well for me. The AX210 might be even more effective if you're running kernel 5.10 or higher, since it supports WiFi 6e in a newer kernel, though it still works on WiFi 6 now. I experience faster speeds with WiFi 5 (AC) on the AX210 compared to the AX200.
