My existing computer configuration includes:
Processor: Intel Core i5-3470
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 960 with 2GB of memory
Memory: 8GB DDR3 RAM
Motherboard: H61M-E
Power Supply Unit: 600 watts.

I’m seeking recommendations for upgrades to improve my computer's gaming performance, particularly within the games Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. My budget is approximately PHP 18,000 (approximately $340 USD), and I reside in the Philippines. Initially, I was considering replacing my motherboard and processor with an Intel Core i5-8400, along with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Do you have any suggestions? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’m interested in knowing which upgrade would provide the most benefit within my budget. Thank you.

You’ll require a fresh computer motherboard, something in the 300-series range. I’ve found the setup to be nicely optimized for Dota and CS:GO. It's best to conserve funds and upgrade to an 8th or 9th generation Intel processor, or a Ryzen system, down the line.

Regarding vapor, you’ll require a fresh motherboard—specifically a 300 series model. The setup is well-suited for games like Dota and CS:GO. It's advisable to conserve funds and consider an 8th or 9th generation Intel processor or a Ryzen system later on.

I’ve already upgraded my board and processor to an i5-8400. I plan to acquire a satisfactory graphics card when sufficient money is available. Thank you very much.
