Outlast isn't great, but Dead Space is awesome. Five Nights at Freddy's is designed for YouTubers and has a huge following of kids, making it ideal for your needs.

Absolutely, it's a tough choice with Resident Evil.

Alien: Isolation? That’s a terrible choice. It drags on too long before you find any decent sections. I’m with Outlast. PT

I've only watched videos of it and it looks great for jump scares, making reactions strong. I haven't played it myself. PT would be an excellent choice.

I wouldn't suggest it. I went through it from beginning to end and didn't find it that terrifying. PT would be an excellent choice though. It's effective for jump scares. However, if they manage to keep you going, consider trying nightmare mode.

This outlast is truly impressive; Alien: Isolation stands out as the best in its genre, offering a strong sense of immersion. The sleep features an engaging perception arc, which I became attached to since it ran smoothly on a R7 260X. :3

Avoid legal action if it’s questionable, but if it works, using an emulator is a good idea. Try playing Forbidden Siren, Fatal Frame, and similar titles. Or maybe run them on an old console if possible. It’s odd no one talked about The Evil Within—still interesting. That game was decent, though not exceptional. Clive Barker’s Jericho was enjoyable for me.
