Hey everyone, I'm trying to really put money into your YouTube channel. It's doing well and growing subscribers quickly, but my Razer Kraken Pro headset just broke. I need a new one with a separate recording microphone. I don't want a headset that includes a mic, so I'm looking for something independent. I'm not setting a specific budget, but I'm aiming for something realistic around $100 to $200. Thanks! -Retro

It's truly regrettable, but we need a rough estimate of the budget since what seems feasible for us may not align with your expectations and vice versa.

It's tough to suggest anything when we don't know the budget, just saying so

Many creators rely on the AT2035. I’m new to it and not an expert, but here’s a tip.

Blue Yeti / AT2035 / Blue Snowball works well with similar headphones such as Sennheiser HD518/558 or ATH-AD500x/700x. The Dt770/880/990 could also fit the bill.

I use a Sennheiser HD558 and a budget mic. For your budget you might consider the new Modmic—it looks great and the HD558 works well. Of course, it’s best to choose headphones you enjoy, like brands such as Sennheiser or Beyerdynamic. They offer solid performance at a lower cost and are suitable for music as well as gaming.

I really enjoy my 558 model. I also own a Blue Snowball that was reasonably priced. You can check out customer reviews on the web.
