I have been trying to find an answer to this question for a build I am helping choose parts on, the player will be doing Space Engineers alot for now. Does a preference to GPU brand exist in Space Engineers? If so, which side performs better? Please answer to the CPU side if this exists too please.

It seems this setup relies on PhysX, which suggests a Nvidia GPU could work best.

I relied on quotation marks if that qualifies as SE, since it doesn’t depend on PhysX but rather CPU work. Usually there aren’t any objects moving around, but PhysX would be perfect for the game. I’d grab another GPU instantly and smash my 110 million ton monster into massive space rocks to test how quickly they can crash the game.

Would add physics engine support make sense? It seems still in Beta/Alpha territory—purchased early when it was in that phase.

These AMD cards are meant to warm things up. Got it? Yeah, seems like this account isn't necessary anymore.

Tried both options but saw no significant difference. Caution: performance drops heavily with excessive items, turning online sessions into a waste of time.

Still undergoing testing. I purchased it in January and have enjoyed it so far. The team is focused on avoiding a rehash of Miner Wars 2, which is a positive move since that title had several unmet expectations despite its original idea. It performs optimally during survival mode on multiplayer servers.
