Hello, I'm looking to buy a Ryzen 5600G or 5600X and need the top value for performance. For a mid-range build, I'm considering X570 or B550 chipset options. X570 works best with dual GPUs or high-end NVMe drives, both often unnecessary for everyday use. It’s mainly for workstations, while the B550 offers better value and lacks a chipset fan—ideal for regular users who don’t need heavy workstation specs. From a performance standpoint, it doesn’t really matter unless your VRMs are extremely outdated like those in Asus HDV or ASUS Prime boards. I’ll assume you’re not overclocking or just boosting the GPU and RAM, so a standard motherboard such as a B550 DS3H or ProDHD should suffice.
