Hey there! I’m looking for some advice on picking the right laptop. Mostly for work and gaming, not the absolute top-tier specs. I need something decent for medium to high settings, especially around 40 FPS in multiplayer games like Battlefield 4. I was thinking Alienware, but after checking some YouTube clips, it seems those models struggle to hit that frame rate on lower resolutions. My ideal screen size is at least 1366 x 768, preferably higher. If you have any other options with better specs for my budget, that’d be awesome! Also, please consider options from the UK side. Thanks! I’m leaning toward either the Alienware M14X R2 or the new Lenovo Z50-70 with these details. Let me know your thoughts!

750 dollars for a laptop with a GT650M is a steep price—Alienware tends to be too expensive, so skip this purchase.

The Alienware offers modest performance, especially when compared to the Y50. Consider checking out MSI laptops or opting for the Y50 instead.

What do you think I should choose? The Y50 is way beyond my budget!

This alienware is quite expensive and performs poorly. A Lenovo model would be a more suitable choice.

This offer looks quite appealing. You can find it on Amazon for the MSI Leopard gaming laptop bundle.

Checking the budget specs? The Y50 lists 840 watts, but it should be a GTX 860M. That link shows the GTX 860M has a higher power rating.

The mouse and accessories work well, though performance is slower. The product offers a high-definition screen, GTX 960 support (better than 940m), and 8GB RAM, making it a solid choice for $973. It runs every game in full HD, including titles like Assassin's Creed Syndicate and the latest releases, with smooth performance on high settings.
