I enjoy MOBA, strategy, and FPS games, but the communities around them often feel weak. Mostly because of the one-man domination issue. That made me wonder which games have the strongest communities, while the others fall short.

BF4 also has a strong community, many of whom transitioned from BF3 (including myself!)

Guild Wars 1/2 is the top choice... Truth be told... I've played a ton of online games... Just go with me on this one... You might meet some wealthy individuals in the area and they could offer you quick cash by answering trivia questions (related to lore) and suddenly you're making some gold.

In fact, the old-school CoD community is really cool. It's active in my area and they still organize tournaments and sponsorships. Mostly they focus on CoD2, but they also host Lan4Fun events where they play CoD4. I keep in touch with them even though I no longer play CoD. Maybe I'll get back to it someday.
