Hey everyone, I'm curious about this. Which games are currently the most memory-heavy? I just got a new SSD and need to decide which titles go on it versus my old HDD. I've heard open-world games tend to use more space, but I don’t have a clear ranking to compare them. With a 500GB drive, there’s still plenty of room, but I want to make the most of it! What do you think?

Open world titles benefit from fast storage to ensure smooth performance, especially with games like Batman, GTA, Witcher, and large multiplayer titles such as Battlefield and Call of Duty. Streaming data efficiently from the drive helps maintain responsiveness, reducing load times significantly. Essentially, any game with heavy loading needs this setup.

GTA 5 starts really slowly at launch, and an SSD makes a big difference. BF4 often has the worst loading times I've ever seen, sometimes taking 5 to 15 minutes to connect. Most games I've played are decent, though some like Fallout 4 and Skyrim can be slow—SSDs really help there too. MMOs can also be frustrating to load, especially when you need to travel quickly.

I'll keep the game on the HDD except for GTA and ARK. I'm not sure about ARK since online play might affect loading times. For upcoming titles like Fallout 4, I'll switch to an SSD.
