I’m looking for long-lasting games. I currently have 86 titles in my Steam collection. Just added an early access title called Hell Warders—great game, worth the $15. It’s a wave-based experience but they’re planning more grinding elements. I often spend hours browsing my library, trying to decide what to play next. I’ve completed every game and replayed them several times. I’m seeking titles that remain engaging over time and offer challenging boss fights. Any recommendations? What are your top all-time favorite grinding games? If you don’t have any standout grinding titles, share what you still enjoy playing for its quality.
Absolutely, I started again recently, though I ended up going back a few times.
Dark Souls is tough—every misstep can be deadly. If you haven’t played Permanent Death yet, Darkest Dungeon might be worth a try.
I've invested a lot of time grinding for perk levels in the Killing Floor games. It might have taken me around 350 hours to reach the maximum in KF1... I still have a long way to go in Killing Floor 2 after 160. Not sure if this is what you're after. lol
It sounds exciting! A lengthy effort leads to a rewarding outcome.

The thunderstorm weather will persist for many years with the present content, and more updates are being added. You get your choice between arcade, realistic, or simulator-style gameplay for tanks, planes, and soon ships. I've enjoyed it for years and have unlocked all the planes, though I haven't tackled the tanks yet. It's available as free-to-play, but you can purchase premium units to boost research and earnings, or opt for a premium account that offers similar perks.
