Hello, I've been using MalWareBytes for some time now. It seems to be a trial version, but I'm unsure if it will remain functional after the trial ends. Could you suggest some solid, free antivirus options that don't require trials? The Windows version isn't reliable enough for me, so I need something dependable. Thank you!

Be cautious of Avast and AVG. Avoid searching for free games or free porn. You should be safe.

I rely on Avast but have also heard positive feedback about Avg and Microsoft Security Essentials.

Consider it essential to have everything ready. For everyday use, AVG works well; for immediate threats, use Avast, followed by Malwarebytes for weekly checks. The free options are sufficient, but Malwarebytes excels at detailed scans rather than constant protection.

My father’s computer appeared secure but kept showing pop-ups. I ran Malwarebytes, and it cleared everything. Now everything functions smoothly.

mbam remains the top choice for scanners, yet for live security it matches average and avast.

You rely on malwarebytes, Microsoft Security Essentials, and occasional cleanup with CCleaner. Besides that, you follow basic online habits and seldom encounter infections.
