There isn't a single top antivirus; many are poor and others even worse, yet none stands out as the best.
Winning with Mac is great, but I’d pick Norton or skip it if you’re sure of yourself.
I plan to try Malwarebytes. I've considered a new install, but it's too slow and my 300 GB limit is a concern.

Check Avast, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntispyware for protection. Consider using Ccleaner to remove threats.

I've never tried the Apple Store. Very few individuals create Mac malware compared to Windows.
Always had it ready.
