There's no reason to spend the extra money for a V8 GTS just to cool his Phenom II

Mrfungi:
Yes, you're correct. I hadn't encountered the Zalman before, but the Coolermaster T4 at 15.2cm seems like a solid choice if you're considering it.
http://
Examining the Zalman, it matches your requirement of being under 15.4cm. However, another model might also be suitable. It reaches its peak at 15.4cm.
http://
The price here is quite high in my area—94 euros. I also have some doubts about the dimensions and size of that cooler. Likely, I'll opt for the T4 or Zalman instead.
Thanks for your assistance and prompt responses.

Oh, no... didn't mean to select this as the solution...
Btw, what do you think about the ZALMAN CNPS10X PERFORMA PLUS cooler?

Solution unselected, did not completely answer OP question.
I think that the Zalman cooler is alright, it's got a nice height for having a 120mm fan on it. It should handle your CPU fine, especially seeing as you can attach a second fan to it if needed.
There's no price on PCPartPicker UK but I did find this:

No worries! Following what Weberdarren97 mentioned, it fits within your height range and appears to be a solid, durable heatsink. The reviews I've seen are positive, and it avoids the bad plastic screws found in some other aftermarket options. Try it out, run some tests, and monitor your temperatures. Good luck!
