Hi,
After using my i5-3570k for a while, I figured overclocking would help it run better for another generation. I aim to push it to 4.4 and 4.5 GHz. What’s the best heat sink to use so the CPU stays cool at those speeds?
I’m also comparing the Noctua NH-D15 and NH-U14S. Is the NH-D15 worth the extra cost, or does the NH-U14S suffice?

The nh-u14s should suffice if you don't need to spend money on the nh-d15. I really like my nh-d15 and wouldn't give it up.

My child is using his vintage 3570k at 4.4 with a Phanteks PC-TC14PE air cooler on an ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4.
