I'm testing my CPU and GPU under heavy load to check their temperatures. My system has a 3D Mark score, but it seems more suited for benchmarking than stress testing. I'm using HWiNFO for monitoring, and I have an aftermarket cooled 290 model. This is the 100th post—I'm amazed at how quickly they heat up!

if it's really a stress test, I suggest cranking your fan speeds to maximum. ...I've noticed folks just let the fan run at auto and their temps are way too high to feel comfortable. Running it at full power gives you the best performance. Also, AMEN!!! I remember when I hit 500 posts... that was almost yesterday (a few weeks).

I don't support using Furmark for GPU stressing. I favor Unigine Heaven instead. The main points are it ruins cards and provides a more authentic workload.

When operating without V-Sync, the experience is already challenging.
