I'm using a 5600x in the Lian Li 011d XL right now with only a CM 212 Evo black. Before finishing the custom loop, should I add an air cooler now or wait?

The 212 is suitable for a 5600 and won’t cause overheating. No upgrade is necessary unless you plan to create a custom loop later.

Use the stock version now—it will help maintain performance. If you don’t have it, you can obtain the alternative from AMD later.

He already has a better cooler than the stock cooler, why would you downgrade?
