Looking for recommendations on a better CPU cooler than the Spire for this model. Looking for options under $100 with Amazon links, preferably using a gift card. Future plans include moving to a 2700x or next-gen cooler. The Asus Crosshair VI Hero works with Am4 and Am3 brackets. Any advice would be appreciated. I haven’t been in the cooler market much lately since I mostly do custom loops and don’t want to spend on a new loop for this system. Also, I’m considering setting up an R6 case and possibly using an air cooler instead of an AIO, just to avoid any RAM clearance problems.

Coolers remain fairly unchanged. They mainly get refreshed in branding. Most should be found on Amazon or Newegg. I don't prefer AIO models since they might leak unexpectedly and damage your PC. However, any decent 240mm or larger should work well.

Thermalright Macho should match the performance of "Noctua - NH-D15," allowing direct competition with most 240mm radiator AIOs if compatible.

Zebarjadi.raouf suggests checking the provided links for alternatives.
If the shared references seem outdated, it might be worth considering a modern 240MM AIO instead.
