Which game do you think delivers the top combat experience within its category? In my view, *Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Academy* stands out. The swordplay features are truly exceptional—highly skill-driven yet easy to grasp, yet challenging to perfect. You gain nearly full control over your weapon, allowing precise direction and creating thrilling multiplayer battles.

Well... if you're after the most thoroughly examined combat system, Arma 3 stands out as the top choice for realistic gunfights and vehicle battles. Military forces have even tested Arma 2 in virtual rooms to prepare personnel for real-world scenarios.

I often play Arma and I understand your point, though I didn't add it since it's mostly a simulation.

Payday 2 stands out for its top-notch weapon control, with Killing Floor coming in close behind. The tactical blend of close combat and long-range tactics is exceptional. TPS delivers an immersive experience akin to Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines, while the seamless transition between melee and ranged combat is outstanding.

Dark Messiah offers some of the top first-person melee combat you've ever tried. The rest of the game feels okay at best by today's standards, though that segment stands out positively.

In terms of battles, I don’t see any clear winner over Devil May Cry 3/4. It’s really tough to get good at, but you can shape it how you like. For Jedy Academy, I played it a few times and it remains one of my favorite moments, though the fighting didn’t feel that intense. That particular encounter where you battle your friend—just run and press the LMB, praying you don’t lose—was pretty nerve-wracking.

I also practiced it many times and didn’t realize how much I could achieve with the lightsaber until I tried multiplayer and watched others perform incredible feats, which taught me a lot.
