Hello, I'm searching for a motherboard compatible with your Ryzen 9 3900X. At MicroCenter they suggested the Gigabyte Aorus Master X570, but it doesn't have the best ratings on Amazon. I found the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero, which matches the price and has better reviews. For a Ryzen 9 3900X with overclocking plans, which option would you prefer?

Top motherboard choices depend on your needs—whether you prioritize performance or value. The X570-E and MSI Unify are solid options for most users.

Lead position. If the cost isn't a concern, you'll be completely content.

The lower-priced options lack certain features, while the more expensive ones offer additional functionalities you might find useful.

160usd prime p (not ideal for 3900x) 200usd elite, 300 taichi (top tier) and master, honestly the best 500usd board is the extreme. It's all about the VRM temperature, the elite just works fine and is affordable, the taichi suits 4 sticks of RAM, the master+ comes with a powerful heatsink.

GB X570 Aorus Masteris performs quite well based on my Aorus Xtreme setup with the 3900X. It offers 14 phase VRM compared to 16 on the Xtreme, an active chipset cooler versus passive heatpipes on the Xtreme, a less powerful LAN (2.5GBPS versus 10GBPS), and fewer USB3.1 G2 ports (probably). It remains a strong, nearly flagship-level motherboard. BIOS support is solid and I haven’t faced any problems with updates.

You'd compare the features and benefits of each option to decide which best fits your needs.

I was checking that board and found it appealing, though a bit pricey. For the $350 budget or less, what would you recommend? Also, I don’t believe Corsair produces motherboards.
