I’m searching for a lightweight browser suitable for your older system. You mentioned needing something that runs smoothly on 1.12GB RAM, a Pentium 3 at 700MHz, and an FX 5500 with 256MB. Firefox, Chrome, and IE aren’t ideal due to their high resource usage. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated!

Looking for a minimal browser? Midori Browser and Qupzilla are great options—they use very few resources.

Opt for a basic machine for media because it runs smoothly without demanding much power. IE9 is designed to be efficient, so it should handle the task well even on lower-end hardware.
