Hey everyone, would love some recommendations for the best overall cooler for the Tr 3990X. I have no budget limits and want something powerful enough to handle heavy loads. I’m open to any type—air, AIO, or custom setup—and I’m planning a fully custom case, so space isn’t a concern. Any tips would be super helpful!

Created a custom loop when funds are unlimited. Worked well with my 3970X, no worries about temperatures.

AMD Ryzen Threaddripper Go is designed for HSF cooling with a heat sink and fan. It features fewer moving parts compared to AIO systems. A larger CPU paired with a bigger integrated heat spreader provides more contact area for better coverage. Additionally, the circular base plate in most AIO setups doesn't reach the edges of the square-shaped IHS.

Ok, hmm I have heard that after under load for extended time, they start to become less efficient, and as water conducts heat better, would a custom loop be better? Or would the hsf still be better?. Also is there an in between/ hybrid?
