you’re trying to run mac os inside a virtual machine, but you’re experiencing significant performance issues. despite having a modern hardware setup (i7 4790k, 16gb ram, 4 cores, 8gb ram), the lag remains high. people suggest downloading mac os directly into the vm, but your experience with oracle vm for windows shows similar slowdowns. there might be factors like driver compatibility, resource allocation settings, or system stability issues that affect smooth operation. consider checking vm settings, updating drivers, or trying a different os distribution if performance remains poor.

Setting up macOS, a VM, or similar requires careful preparation. Verify your hardware—GPU and motherboard—works with the system. (SLI is likely not supported.) Next, obtain a copy of the OS, but be cautious as it’s often unreliable.

It depends on the reason you're asking. If it's related to mac os, let me know more details so I can help better. Otherwise, feel free to clarify!

Sure, it's fine as long as we avoid details about obtaining a copy of macOS.

Is this about hacking? Yeah, we can definitely do that.

Looking for a high-performance, lag-free virtual machine? I recommend exploring lightweight options like VMware ESXi or Hyper-V with optimized settings. For smooth operation, consider using a modern Linux distribution such as Ubuntu Server or CentOS Stream.

I tested various mac OS versions on VMware, and it functioned well even on less powerful hardware. You might want to give it a shot.

People may need quotes to receive alerts, otherwise they won't get them.
