I've been experiencing more lag and spikes lately. I'm thinking about upgrading my internet extender—it's really slow, only 2.4GHz, and probably just 802.1b. I need the best Wi-Fi extender with an Ethernet port, ideally under £30 but willing to spend up to £40 if needed.

I’m not familiar with the extender, but you can use a power line adapter—though it’s not as good as Ethernet but at least better than Wi-Fi.

Without a dedicated mesh network with separate backhaul radios, you’ll consistently encounter extremely high latency when employing an extender.

We offer the RE450, along with the RE200, which fits your budget and could be a better match, though I can't assure it matches the latest model's quality.
