Repasting doesn't affect CPU pins. However, altering the contact frame may impact them. Are you utilizing four sticks of RAM? Edited November 14, 2023 by leclod

I’ll take out the CPU cooler so I can inspect it for any issues with the pins or debris, as mentioned earlier, and let you know my findings.

No sticks of Ram are being used. The question seems to be asking about the relevance or necessity of using four sticks in a specific context.

Right now it seems like the system is at its worst, but you usually get a decent replacement. I’ve already sent worse versions and they were fixed.

I just destroyed the mobo due to the f***ing accident you mentioned. The CPU got stuck on a contact plate, I lifted it up and the CPU fell straight onto the pins, causing them to bend. I'm 100% convinced I need a replacement now.

Only two sticks, but I managed to fix the mobo after the f***ing mess. The CPU got stuck on a contact plate, I lifted it up and it fell straight onto the pins—now they’re definitely bent. Definitely time for a new mobo.

The CPU came loose from my hands and landed directly on the pins. This isn’t the first computer I’ve assembled, and I haven’t ever managed to fix this badly before.

It's understandable to feel frustrated, but you were right—your motherboard handled two sticks without issues.

It didn’t show up at all after installing two RAM sticks, only the first one did. Still, it’s probably too late—I’ll need a new motherboard eventually.

I checked the motherboard first; a few pins aren’t connected properly. If it doesn’t function, I’ll handle it gently and carefully—this can’t get any worse. “One RAM slot isn’t working and it won’t show anything, but swapping it to another slot fixes everything.” I’m still having trouble grasping what’s going on. Your photo isn’t terrible, but it’s not very clear either.
