Top choice for gaming on i9-9900K motherboards.

I'm working on assembling my own high-performance gaming setup and am struggling to pick a motherboard. It will run the i9-9900k with overclocking, paired with a liquid-cooled RTX 2080ti. I've assembled many boards before, but this is my first i9 build—so I'm not very experienced with the latest options. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They're a bit too much, but an Aorus Z390 should work just fine.

Mostly I'm focused on the GByte boards. The Aorus Ultra is the main one I've seen. Your custom build looks great! What's your experience with CPU temperatures during heavy use without liquid cooling?
