I think my main challenge in this build comes from my CPU. I'm unsure about the best choice because other components restrict me and I'm not very familiar with tech details. What CPU would work best for me? Please share your specifications and any constraints you've noticed. I understand you mentioned a possible 6th generation limit from your motherboard, but I want to confirm.

You already have the top CPU compatible with that motherboard. To improve it, you'll need to swap the CPU, motherboard, and RAM.

A solid choice would be an Intel Core i5 or i7 paired with an affordable motherboard like the B550 or B660. This setup offers good performance for modern games without breaking the bank.

For non-streaming or office use, opt for a Ryzen 5 3600 with an MSI B450 A-Pro Max board and 16GB (2x8) 3600C16 or 3200C16 RAM. If you need streaming or heavy CPU work, choose a Ryzen 7 3700X while keeping the same motherboard and RAM.

Looking for similar budget-friendly motherboards that work well in your region? Many options exist outside the stores you see, and prices can vary significantly.

Yes, the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max supports both Gaming Plus Max and other overclocking options.

There's a gaming plus AC available for the equivalent of 130$ but that's it. No-one of other ones.

I'm from a different region and checking various online platforms. Could you clarify your location and the specific sites you're interested in?

It's not that way. A 4790k and a solid CPU cooler could really boost performance. I've seen it work before.

I reside in Denmark and I'm browsing https://www.elgiganten.dk/catalog/pc-tab...otherboard. I'd like to stick with this site for shipping, as it's more reliable for my remote location. I've seen them elsewhere but prefer local options since shipping can be uncertain.
